About - Greenscape Landscaping - Okanagan Valley

Tony Patrocinio grew up on an orchard in Osoyoos, British Columbia. His family owned (still does own) 10 acres of orchard with a variety of fruit trees.
In 1978 after 4 years of college education, Tony graduated with a diploma in Turf Management, Horticulture and Landscape Design and Construction, from the Olds College in Olds, Alberta. Even before graduating, Tony had already secured himself the Superintendent in charge of maintenance position for the Osoyoos Golf and Country Club.
With high demand for his expertise, Tony soon became a contractor.

In 1980 Tony supplied the first semi-trailer load of turf to ever be delivered to Osoyoos. By now Tony was already employing several part-time people with Greenscape, as well as continuing his work as Superintendent at the Osoyoos Golf and Country Club. Tony's future was now clearly established as the founder/owner of Greenscape Landscaping, contracting his landscaping, irrigation and maintenance services throughout the South Okanagan.

From those early days, Greenscape Landscaping continued growing with new projects and contracts throughout the South Okanagan. Tony eventually left the Osoyoos Golf and Country Club and took the position as the Superintendent for Fairview Mountain Golf and Country Club, later moving into a nine year term as the Superintendent at the Penticton Golf and Country Club. As Superintendent at Penticton he oversaw the re-building of a large portion of the course.

In 2000 Tony achieved a major goal in life when he and his Greenscape Landscaping company designed and built the Skaha Meadows Golf Course in Penticton B.C. Tony is co-owner of the Skaha Meadows Golf Course. With the opening of Skaha Meadows on August 10 2000 the goal of building, owning and operating his own golf course had been achieved.
